I know right! I love Essie colors; i hate Essie’s brush, consistency, and inflated price. I’m definitely an OPI and China Glaze lifer too!! Thanks for following and thanks for the love! =)
Hi and thanks! I used Konad, a nail stamp brand, to achieve that look. You use the gold nail polish as the “ink” for the stamp. There’s also a knockoff brand called Bundlemonster that’s cheaper. Definitely Youtube “Konad” and see how it works; it makes nail art really easy!
You are my new best friend.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment such lovely things! It all comes full circle; Tumblr inspires me all the time so i’m glad that you’ve been inspired from some of my posts. It’s always a brighter day when you can look down at beautiful nails, so definitely try new things and add color to your life. Thanks for following and stay tuned for more! <3
That is ridiculous!! My sincerest apologies =( Why are cosmetics so expensive in Australia? I remember buying a lipstick at Target here for $6 right before i boarded a plane to Australia, and i saw the same lipstick there for $18! I was stunned!
Hi there! I originally bought the starter kit (stamper, scraper, and one tiny bottle of white special polish) and a couple plates from a kiosk at Irvine Spectrum. It has since closed down, so i’ve ordered a few times from Amazon.com. It’s actually cheaper and i love getting mail so it’s a win/win =)
Oooh i just Yelped it and it sounds great! I’ve never been but i’ll definitely check it out =) Thanks for the tip!
ONLY? It used to be $4!! The best store (most organized, helpful and friendly) is Beauty Zone in Westminster, but they’ve upped the price of OPI to $5.50 there =/ It’s devastating, but if you’re used to paying retail then i guess it’s a great deal! Haha it is still better than what Ulta and the like charge, so i shouldn’t complain =)
That’s ridiculous! I’d go bankrupt. Essie is really not worth that much at all =/
Hello. I buy my nail polish from nail supply stores in Westminster, California. The average price for China Glaze is $2.50-$3, Orly/Essie is $3, and OPI ranges from $4-$5.50 (yes, they raised OPI’s prices because of the company’s new owner…sigh).
YES! I’m glad i’m not alone =)
